Vehicles we accept in Idaho

Cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, RVs — running or not, clean title or complicated.

At Idaho Wheels Forward, we understand that vehicles come in all shapes and conditions. That's why we accept nearly any vehicle, whether it's drivable or not. Our mission is to turn your vehicle donations into vital resources for local residents seeking assistance through various benefit programs. Whether you have an old sedan, a retired pickup truck, or a motorcycle that's seen better days, your contribution can make a real difference. We proudly serve every corner of Idaho, making the process simple and beneficial for both donors and our communities.

Categories we accept

Cars & Sedans
1995-present

Cars and sedans are often donated for auction, bringing in funds that support local families. If the vehicle isn’t in running condition, parts may be salvaged or it could be recycled responsibly.

Many Idahoans rely on reliable cars for commuting in our vast rural landscape, making these donations essential for community support.

Pickup Trucks
1995-present

Pickup trucks are frequently sold at auction; if they have mechanical issues, they may be parted out or recycled, helping us fund community resources.

From hauling hay to weekend adventures, pickup trucks are a staple of Idaho life, making donations of these vehicles incredibly impactful.

SUVs & Crossovers
1995-present

SUVs and crossovers are popular in Idaho and can bring in decent auction prices. Non-running models may be dismantled for parts.

These vehicles are perfect for navigating Idaho's diverse terrain, making them a common choice for families and outdoor enthusiasts.

Motorcycles
1995-present

Motorcycles are typically auctioned to enthusiasts; if they’re not running, we may salvage parts or recycle them.

With breathtaking roads and scenic views, motorcycles are beloved in Idaho, and donations help keep the wheels turning for those in need.

RVs & Campers
1995-present

RVs and campers often generate funds via auction, while non-drivable ones can be stripped for parts or recycled.

Idaho’s stunning landscapes attract RV adventures, and every donation helps families who may need assistance on their journeys.

Boats
1995-present

Boats can be auctioned off; if they are not functional, parts can be salvaged or they could be recycled at a nearby facility.

With our beautiful lakes and rivers, boat donations are cherished, enabling us to support programs that assist our neighbors.

Commercial Vehicles
1995-present

Commercial vehicles are often auctioned for business-use; if they're in poor condition, we may dismantle them for parts rather than repair.

Local businesses thrive in Idaho, and donating commercial vehicles helps fuel community initiatives and support businesses in need.

Non-running Vehicles
All years

Even non-running vehicles can be valuable; they may be recycled or parted out to generate funds for our mission.

In rural areas, non-running vehicles might be more common, and donating them aids our goal of enhancing community support.

Condition guide

When considering a vehicle donation, the condition of the vehicle plays a vital role. We accept running vehicles that are in good shape as well as those that are non-running. Even if your vehicle has seen better days, it might still hold value for parts or recycling. Salvage titles or vehicles that are no longer operable can still qualify, as our mission is to maximize community benefits regardless of the vehicle’s state.

However, vehicles that are significantly damaged or in deteriorating condition may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We encourage donors to reach out for clarification about specific vehicles, especially those with structural damage or extensive mechanical issues. Our goal is to ensure that each donation can contribute positively to supporting Idaho residents.
