At Idaho Wheels Forward, we believe every motorcycle has a story, and we're here to help you share it in a meaningful way. Whether it’s a trusty chopper that’s seen better days or a sleek scooter parked in your garage, your donation can transform lives. Plus, with the scenic byways and endless trails around places like Coeur d'Alene, your motorcycle can find a second life in the hands of someone who'll ride it across Idaho’s breathtaking landscapes.
Donating is a breeze! We accept motorcycles in any condition, running or not, so don’t worry if yours has seen more of the garage floor than the open road. Our dedicated team is here to ensure a smooth process, taking care of all the details, including the paperwork. And down here in Idaho, we know that a good ride can change someone’s perspective, so why not make that possible?

Condition & logistics
Running vs. Not
We accept motorcycles in any condition. If it’s running, that’s fantastic! If not, don’t sweat it. Your donation still makes a huge impact, and we’ll handle the logistics.
Title Issues
Make sure the title is signed on the back with the odometer reading included. If you’ve lost it, we can help you navigate getting a replacement, so don’t let that stop you from donating!
Storage and Pickup Logistics
We’ll coordinate the pickup of your motorcycle directly from your home or storage unit. Just let us know where it is, and we’ll take care of the rest—easy peasy!
Title transfer & paperwork
Transferring the title of your motorcycle in Idaho is straightforward. The title must be signed on the back, including the odometer reading. If you're unsure about the exact paperwork, our team can guide you through the entire process. If you have lost your title, you can obtain a replacement through your local DMV. Don’t forget to remove your license plates before the pickup!
Tax deduction for this donation
When you donate your motorcycle, you may be eligible for a tax deduction. Typical deductions range based on the sale price of your vehicle, which could be anywhere from $500 to several thousand dollars, depending on the type and condition. We’ll provide you with IRS Form 1098-C, detailing your contribution for tax purposes.
